A hard gel manicure at Ruta Beauty in Manhattan is a structured overlay applied over natural nails. Detailed dry cuticle care, shaping, hard gel and one gel polish color are combined in an appointment focused on reinforcement at your current nail length.
An overlay, rather than added length
Hard gel adds a supportive layer over the nail you already have. The structure is refined to keep the profile balanced, then finished with color and cuticle oil. Full-length extensions are a separate service.
Will this make my nails longer?
A hard gel overlay reinforces the length you already have. It does not create a full set of longer nails. If you want added length on all nails, choose Gel Extensions instead.

Please do not remove or peel existing product at home. Removal is not automatically included in this service, so tell us what is currently on your nails and select the appropriate removal option in Square when available.
Please do not cut your cuticles before the appointment. When booking, mention existing product, repairs, sensitivity, added length, or any concern you want Maria to review at the start of the service.
Use cuticle oil daily, wear gloves for household work, and avoid picking the product or using your nails as tools. Maria can recommend the right maintenance timing after seeing your natural nail growth.
