Regular manicure without colored polish: what to expect
A regular manicure at Ruta Beauty in Manhattan is a waterless natural-nail service with detailed dry cuticle care and shaping. Nails are left bare or finished with clear polish. Colored polish and a structural gel overlay are not included.
Care for the natural nail
The result is a neat nail shape and a clean, understated finish. Existing gel or hard product removal can be added separately. Clear gel without structural correction is also an optional addition, distinct from the included clear-polish or bare-nail finish.
Is gel included?
The starting service is for bare nails or clear polish, not a nude gel base or colored gel manicure. Clear gel without structural correction is available as an addition. Let the studio know about any existing product that needs removal.

Please do not remove or peel existing product at home. Removal is not automatically included in this service, so tell us what is currently on your nails and select the appropriate removal option in Square when available.
Please do not cut your cuticles before the appointment. When booking, mention existing product, repairs, sensitivity, added length, or any concern you want Maria to review at the start of the service.
Use cuticle oil daily, wear gloves for household work, and avoid picking the product or using your nails as tools. Maria can recommend the right maintenance timing after seeing your natural nail growth.
